Ed Baily

Ed Bailey has understated but very serious dj credentials.  He has held residencies at every major club in Washington, D.C. for over 20 years - including Tracks, Ozone, Millennium, Cobalt, Velvetnation, and Town.

For years in D.C., he has been known for offering a varied style of music and is most often recognized as a big room - big anthem - big vocal dj which is why he has had residencies in major "big boy" dance clubs like Tracks, Velvetnation, Salvation in Miami, and Fusion and Jungle in Atlanta, and why he had been asked by Junior Vasquez to fill in for him on occasion or open for Junior on New Year's Eve at the Roxy in NYC.

But, though Bailey's dj roots may be in house music and club kid parties, and though he may have held major residencies at established after hours and big room venues up and down the east coast over the last two decades, he has become even more well known across North America as a DJ specializing in crazy-light-hearted-musically thematic events.

He has djed for Blondie opening for her on tour, he has djed on stage with the b-52's, for the Pet Shop Boys' live concert dance events, and was the opening dj for Kylie Minogue during her 2011 US tour.  In addition, his Madonnarama events have received international attention and were officially recognized by Warner Brothers records as the premium national Madonna-dance event.

Madonnarama has toured North America many times over and due to its response and success there have been multiple return dates to all the venues it has visited. Because Bailey brings major dj abilities to such a light-hearted event concept, Madonnarama has a real impact in the clubs he plays.  He seamlessly mixes Madonna music with music videos with interview clips with movie scenes with live performances to give an all-round experience that creates an entire night of pop mixed with current club sounds mixed with classics...a total party. "As long as she keeps going, I am completely excited to be able to provide people with a really amazing, totally fun way to celebrate their love of Madonna."  In 2012, as Madonna embarks on yet another world tour with another highly anticipated album, Bailey is going to hit the road to do parties across North America and maybe even in a Madonna-loving city near you.
